You can easily reach these destinations by passing through Nantes and dropping your vehicle off at one of the following locations <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adopteunparking.com\/en_gb\/car-parks\/nantes-atlantique\">our partner car parks<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Destinations for the faint-hearted<\/h2><p>During the autumn and winter months, many of us want nothing more than to get away from it all for a few days. <strong>escape the cold<\/strong>and snow. But of all the destinations for <strong>basking in the sun<\/strong>Where to fly to? <\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Martinique: Fort-De-France<\/h3><p>In Fort-De-France, it's hot all year round, <strong>between 28 and 32\u00b0c<\/strong>. From December to April, Martinique experiences the <strong>dry season.<\/strong> It's the perfect time to go and enjoy the beaches and the water, which hovers around 30\u00b0C. You can also take advantage of the trip to go for a walk and visit some of the most beautiful towns in the area. <strong>magnificent locations<\/strong>. For nature lovers, you can go for a walk in the<strong> Balata garden<\/strong> with 3,000 different species of plants, you can also take a walk to the <strong>Atsalon loop<\/strong>A hike accessible to all, lasting between 2h30 and 3h. Culture lovers will also find plenty to keep them happy with the <strong>Sch\u0153lscher library<\/strong>first built in the Tuileries gardens, then dismantled and transported to Martinique, but also with several <strong>museums<\/strong> including the Departmental Museum of Pre-Columbian Archaeology and Prehistory of Martinique and the Regional Museum of History and Ethnography. If you choose this destination, <strong>don't forget your sun cream!<\/strong><\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Canaries: Tenerife<\/h3><p>Keeping with the theme of sun and warmth, you can fly off to visit Tenerife in the Canaries with its <strong>25\u00b0c on average.<\/strong> The weather will be warm but mild, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. You can go for a walk in the <strong>Teide National Park <\/strong>where you can see the volcano of the same name, which incidentally is the highest peak in Spain. You can even <strong>climb to the top<\/strong> via its cable car. If you prefer to relax and recharge your batteries, you can take a trip to the <strong>Los Gigantes<\/strong>A seaside resort with 800m-high cliffs. You can also perfect your tan on the various <strong>black sand beaches<\/strong> of the city. Among the many possibilities offered by Tenerife, you can also explore the lava tunnels of La <strong>cueva del Viento<\/strong> created by lava flows from the Pico Viejo volcano. <strong>Claustrophobic fans please!<\/strong><\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Destinations for winter lovers<\/h2><p>While some people love to bask in the sun, others prefer to take it easy. <strong>strength from the cold<\/strong>. Wrap up in warm, cosy clothes with a cup of hot chocolate by the fire or be dazzled by the immaculate white of the snow and enjoy these <strong>magical landscapes<\/strong>.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scotland: Edinburgh<\/h3><p>If you like places full of <strong>magic and mystery<\/strong>then this is the city for you. Away from the sun and the heat, you'll be able to enjoy a very relaxing atmosphere. <strong>potteresque<\/strong> amidst buildings steeped in history. There's something for everyone, and you're spoilt for choice: a lively city centre, several museums, nature at your fingertips, and so on...<br>On every street corner you can see <strong>magnificent monuments<\/strong>. A visit to the <strong>castle<\/strong> in Edinburgh or <strong>National Museum of Scotland<\/strong> should delight even the most curious. If you prefer a breath of fresh air and a bit of exercise, you can climb to the top of the<strong>Arthur's Seat<\/strong> where you'll have a breathtaking view of the whole city. If you're a thrill-seeker, don't hesitate to check out the <strong>\"ghost tour<\/strong> where a guide will take you around Edinburgh and tell you ghost stories. To visit Edinburgh, <strong>we'll have to think about the umbrella!<\/strong><\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Iceland: Reykjavik Keflavik<\/h3><p>For fans of <strong>extreme cold and snow<\/strong>you will have to go to Reykjavik in Iceland, where the <strong>snowy landscapes<\/strong> await you. First of all, you can visit the <strong>historic centre<\/strong> of the city, combining architecture and shopping. You can then take a stroll around the marina. You'll be dazzled by the<strong>Hallgrimskirkja church<\/strong> whose architecture is reminiscent of the organs usually found in these buildings. If you want to recharge your batteries, we invite you to take a dip in the <strong>thermal pools at Sundh\u00f6llin<\/strong>. If, on the other hand, you dream of seeing at least once in your life the <strong>whales<\/strong>it will be towards the <strong>Faxafl\u00f3i bay or the old port<\/strong> Whales, rorquals and dolphins will be on hand. Don't hesitate to stop off at one of the many restaurants offering the best of the region's culinary delights. <strong>typical Icelandic dishes<\/strong>. And the city has so much more to show you.
